Gg what do you about using 40% on vps to see the value range more clearly in the intradbars while having a visible range vp to watch the overal picture. Im using trading view i dont have any fancy software yet nor any real exp with any, im just breaking into vp and fps and discovering how much more effective they are ?

I remember this day well. The big run up was end of month (may '24) buying which started 20 minutes before the close. If you look at exactly the time and price the volume came in, that was right at 5248 IIRC (ESM). While I did not short the move down, I was waiting at exactly that price to buy. Looking at the origin of an impulse is often a great place to look for targets and entries.

So does a dramtic shift in the bid ask indicate it got absorbed and didnt succeed which is then probable the price has shifted from buying to selling or vice versa ?

Thanks Richard. I tend to have a different expectation for high volume and low volume areas. I tend to expect high volume areas to attract and hold price, and I expect low volume areas to reject via a bounce or a trade through, rather than expecting them to be filled in. For example, a trend day with very little consensus on value tends to hold near the extreme on the following day where much of the volume resides, but if a reversal begins, it can often retrace the entire trend. I don't have objective stats on this, just my anecdotal observations. I appreciate hearing your perspective on it.

Love how nearly all of your vidoes go back to setups that are taught in your courses. In this case, from the footprint course - the initiative drive strategy for every down leg, exhaustion low for the climax, and hiding behind the elephant for a potential reversal trade.

I would add one more tip: trade each day of the week on a simulated account, and one day using real money with a very small account if possible. For me, this was helpful for making the transition to trading real money. The psychology is different when you trade real money, and my advice is to add “real money days” to your week as the difference between paper trading and live trading heavily diminishes. This helps you get less anxious when trading real money, and it kinda makes you take the paper trading days more seriously.

Ive been doing this for a long time now using micro lots on the live and std lots on the sim and gauging what are realistic potentials and learning what market movement is and what is actually a move in regards key timings/levels. Realising when to hold and when to cut..the only factor is i think the fill sizes on a demo doesnt represent actual active participation at those key timings, bid ask being shifted at key levels etc..but overall this is good advice and it has been working for me. I am engaging in an index a currency and metal so far and realising how they correlate with one another. Thanks for the advice and I look forward to more vids as it seems this is becoming a full time thing for me; and im really enjoying it.

How do your traders follow more than 1 market at the same time? Do they pick 1 market for a day? Give some advice please.

As a trader myself, I completely agree with this, your sleep matters! Trading is all about good decision making and staying sharp, even more so when scalping the markets. Great content guys, this topic is rarely discussed.
